According to Abdul Moneim’s account, President el-Sisi directly addressed the Egyptian people with a message of reassurance, stating, “Rest assured about Egypt, God willing… God willing… God willing, no one will be able to approach this country.” The repetition, Abdul Moneim noted, carried particular weight.

The journalist further reported that el-Sisi stressed the two pillars underpinning Egypt’s success: stability and steadfastness. He attributed these achievements first to God, and then to the Egyptian people themselves. The President reportedly urged continued unity between the state and its citizens, stating, “We sense you and we are making every effort to improve the situation and conditions.”

Abdul Moneim described the atmosphere at the iftar as one of “pure national spirit,” characterized by sincere affection for Egypt and profound respect for the sacrifices made by its armed forces.
