Drunen,Netherlands – The Efteling and Anton Pieck Collectors’ Fair 2025 drew over three thousand attendees this weekend, marking a notable increase in popularity for the annual event. Organizers report visitors began arriving as early as 7:25 AM, more than two hours before the fair officially opened it’s doors.
The fair, hosted by the Stichting Vertierelier, showcased exclusive merchandise, live entertainment, and previews of upcoming Efteling attractions. Highlights included a special pin commemorating the 25th anniversary of Villa Pardoes, unique Looopings-branded merchandise available at the Pretparkwinkel.nl booth, cosplay displays, children’s activities, and a sneak peek at the new Pieck musical. Collectors John Steijger and Emiel Schaap also presented a detailed, moving Joseph Charlatan model.
The event featured live recordings of two episodes of the “Kleine Boodschap” podcast in a dedicated theater space. A spokesperson for Stichting Vertierelier stated the new additions to the fair were “very well received,” and the organization is already considering a substantial expansion for the 2026 event. The fair builds on the success of previous years, including the record-breaking 2023 event which welcomed 2500 visitors and prompted lengthy queues.
