These hazardous meteorological conditions left event organizers with no operational alternative but to scrap both scheduled performances at the Gillette Stadium near Boston. Coastal zones across North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey had already experienced flooding since Wednesday ahead of the system’s arrival.
