Easy Sudoku: Feb 23 – Mar 1 Puzzles | Radio Times

February 20, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

A riddle about echoes is currently generating significant interest online, prompting discussion about the evolving nature of online puzzles and brain teasers. The riddle, “I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with wind. What am I?” and its answer, “An echo,” was featured today by RiddlesQuest, a riddle generation website.

The renewed focus on traditional riddles comes as digital platforms increasingly incorporate interactive puzzles to engage users. RiddlesQuest’s “Verified Riddles” feature, launched recently, aims to provide accurate and reliable solutions, addressing concerns about algorithmically generated riddles that may produce ambiguous or incorrect answers. According to RiddlesQuest, the verified riddles are sourced from “trusted websites and riddle collections around the internet.”

The popularity of riddles extends beyond casual entertainment. Riddles.com, another online resource, notes that riddles are “enigmas wrapped up in a puzzle and shrouded in mystery,” serving as a mental exercise for both children and adults. The site highlighted a problem riddle, asking, “When asked how old she was, Suzie replied, ‘In two years I will be twice as old as I was five years ago.’ How old is she?” The answer, 12, demonstrates the logical reasoning skills often required to solve such puzzles.

The trend also reflects a broader interest in brain teasers and logic puzzles. DoRiddles.com currently features a daily riddle, asking, “What sits in a corner while travelling all around the world?” The site offers riddles with progressive hints and explanations, catering to a range of skill levels. A riddle on DoRiddles, “Only one of the following statements is true, which one is it? One statement here is false. Two statements here are false. Three statements here are false,” has also gained traction, requiring careful analysis to determine the correct answer.

My-Riddles.com emphasizes the benefits of riddles for website engagement, noting that they encourage visitors to spend more time on a site and attract backlinks from other sources. This highlights the growing recognition of riddles as a valuable tool for content creators and digital marketers.

Riddles.com recently updated its collection on February 19, 2026 and continues to add new puzzles, indicating an ongoing demand for this form of entertainment. The site also featured a word puzzle: “What 8 letter word can have a letter taken away and it still makes a word. Take another letter away and it still makes a word. Retain on doing that until you have one letter left. What is the word?” The answer, “starting,” showcases the linguistic challenges presented by some riddles.
