Driver ignores right of way: two paramedics seriously injured
Actor Hannes Jaenicke gets on a super-fast e-bike at the Hockenheimring on Sunday (2:45 p.m.). Jaenicke, who is also known for his environmental commitment, is supposed to do a few laps on the “eRockit one” vehicle – not as an advertising partner, as a spokesman for the eRockit company emphasizes, “but because he simply thinks the thing is good”.
Strictly speaking, the vehicle is a pedal-controlled electric motorcycle and can be operated just like an e-bike. “You always have to pedal to drive, otherwise it will roll over,” he explained. You need a driving license for light motorcycles with a displacement of up to 125 cubic centimeters.
The campaign takes place as part of the so-called e4 Testival for new mobility, in which numerous other exhibitors are presenting themselves at the Hockenheimring.
