Drew McIntyre Slept With WWE title After SmackDown Win

Drew McIntyre recently shared a fun detail about his SmackDown win. After defeating Logan Paul to become the new WWE Champion, McIntyre said he actually slept with the title belt.

Speaking on the After the Bell podcast with Corey Graves, mcintyre explained he took the title back to his hotel room. He jokingly said he wanted to “get to know” the championship a little better.

“I took it back to the hotel with me,” McIntyre revealed. “I wanted to get to know the title a little better. I slept with the WWE Championship. It was a good night.”

McIntyre’s win over Paul marked his second reign as WWE Champion. He previously held the title in 2020, winning it at WrestleMania 36. His current run began at WrestleMania XL Night One in Philadelphia.

The new champion is scheduled to defend his title against Damian Priest at Backlash on May 6th in Lyon, France.
