Park City Practice Prioritizes Patient Time with New Physician ⁣& Membership Model

A new approach to healthcare focused on personalized, preventative care has arrived in Park City with the addition of family physician Dr. Nadya P. Wayment. Dr. Wayment is introducing a membership-based practice through MDVIP, designed to allow her to dedicate substantially more time to each patient.

“Quality of care has always been extremely ⁣vital to⁤ me,” Dr. Wayment explained. “Practicing in a high-volume medical system ⁣has been very complicated. The medical system ⁤is fundamentally broken.” The MDVIP model allows her ‍to see fewer patients, fostering a more in-depth doctor-patient⁢ relationship and a stronger focus on⁣ disease prevention and early‌ detection.

This translates to tangible benefits for patients, ⁢including the availability of same-day or next-day appointments and consultations averaging 30 minutes – a departure from the often-rushed pace of traditional primary care. Patients also gain 24/7 direct phone access to Dr. Wayment for urgent medical needs.

Dr. ⁤wayment’s dedication to medicine ‌was inspired by her mother, a pediatrician. “My mother was a pediatrician, so I was very familiar with the⁢ work ethic and values ⁣in medicine before I went into it,” she said.

The annual⁤ MDVIP membership includes a comprehensive wellness program featuring advanced diagnostic tests and screenings. Dr. Wayment utilizes the results of these tests to create personalized coaching ‌plans, empowering patients to make informed lifestyle choices for improved health.

Prevention has always played a huge role for me,” Dr.Wayment stated. “It is importent to get to⁢ the root to figure out what is going on. This takes time.to be able to practice ⁢this quality of medical care, and not compromising⁤ on the quality or ‌time with ⁤patients, I had to make⁢ these changes.”

Dr. wayment brings over 19 years of experience to the Park City area. She earned her medical degree from‌ Bukovynian State medical ⁤Academy in Ukraine and completed her residency in family medicine at st. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Centre in Phoenix, Arizona. She is board-certified in family medicine ⁣and affiliated with Intermountain Health ‍Layton Hospital, and is ⁢fluent in English,⁣ Ukrainian, and Russian.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Wayment enjoys an active Utah lifestyle with her husband, Pasha, and sons, Connor and Wyatt, including skiing, biking, and hiking since moving to the state in 2000. She also pursues her passion for ballroom dancing, having competed ⁣on the CBS series “Come Dance with⁣ Me” alongside her son,Connor.
