Real Madrid & Barcelona Legends to Clash in Hong Kong, Michael Owen Returns
HONG KONG – Football fans in Hong Kong are set to witness a spectacle as legends from Real Madrid and Barcelona prepare to face off at Kaide Sports Park. The highly anticipated “Double Red Club Legends” game will feature a star-studded lineup, with the event marking the return of former Liverpool and Manchester United star michael Owen to hong Kong.
The match offers fans a rare prospect to see iconic players from two of football’s most storied clubs compete once again. Owen, a Golden Globe winner, previously played in Hong Kong in December 2024 against Barcelona legends and is eager to return to the pitch.The event is expected to draw a large crowd, with 20,000 tickets priced at HK$399 and RMB499 initially reserved for fans.
Tickets will be available for public purchase starting at 12 noon tomorrow via the Hong Kong Ticketing platform, following an initial reservation period that saw strong demand on September 9th. Organizers reported that the reserved tickets were quickly booked before the end of the day.
