Ballybofey mourns the passing of Dominick (Dommie) O’Donnell, Curraghamone, who died peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
Mr. O’Donnell is remembered as a beloved husband to Mildred and a devoted father to daughters, Emma and Louise. His death marks a loss for the wider Ballybofey community, where he was a well-known and respected figure.
He is predeceased by his parents, Dominick and Annie O’Donnell, and by his brothers, Seamus and infant John. He is survived by his siblings Nan,Kathleen,Margaret,brigid,Bernie,Marjorie,and Michael,as well as his extended family,neighbours,and friends.
Reposing at McCool Funeral Home on Friday, September 12th, and Saturday, September 13th, from 5pm to 9pm, the funeral will proceed on Sunday, September 14th. The cortege will leave the Funeral Home at 10am, travelling via Curraghamone, to the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar, for Requiem Mass at 11am.
Following Mass, interment will take place in Drumboe cemetery.
