Dolly Parton Vegas Concerts Postponed – Health Reasons

Dolly Parton Postpones Las vegas Residency‍ to Address Health Concerns

Country⁢ music icon dolly ​Parton has ⁤announced⁣ the postponement of her upcoming Las Vegas concert‍ residency, “Dolly:⁣ live in Las Vegas,” due to‍ health ⁢issues requiring medical ⁣procedures. The announcement,made via social media,comes as Parton prepares for her first‌ string ⁢of shows since concluding ⁢her “Pure & Simple” tour ​in 2016.

The six-show residency, originally scheduled for December 4-13 ⁤at Caesars ‌Palace, will now be rescheduled for⁤ September 2026. Parton ‍explained‍ she needs time to recover and⁢ properly prepare a show that ⁤meets her⁣ standards and those of her fans. This postponement⁤ impacts ticket holders and fans⁣ eagerly‌ anticipating her return to the⁣ stage in Las Vegas.

“I wont the ⁢fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas ‌concerts,” Parton wrote. ‍”As⁣ manny of you know, I have been dealing⁤ with​ some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a⁣ few procedures.” She jokingly referred to the need‌ for procedures as a ​”100,000-mile check-up,”⁣ but emphasized her commitment to delivering a high-quality performance.

Parton assured fans she has no plans to retire, stating, “While I’ll still be able to work on​ all of my projects from here in Nashville, I just need a little time⁣ to get show ready, as they say…God hasn’t ⁣said anything about stopping yet. But, I believe He ‌is telling me to slow down right now so I⁣ can be ready for ​more big adventures with all of you.”

The “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas” residency was billed as a “hit-driven concert event,” promising a showcase ⁢of Parton’s extensive catalog of beloved ⁣songs. Further details regarding rescheduled dates and ticket information will⁣ be released at a later time.
