Albacete Hospital’s Geriatrics Service Earns‌ National ⁤Recognition as Top-Rated in Spain

ALBACETE, Spain – The Geriatrics Service at the albacete Hospital Complex has been recognized as the service with the best reputation in Spain, according to recent awards presented by MERCO (monitor de Reputación Corporativa). The accolades,‌ announced this week, highlight the leading services, hospitals, adn medical professionals nationwide based on reputation.‍ This recognition underscores Albacete’s growing prominence as a center for excellence in geriatric care, a field increasingly vital given Spain’s aging population.

The MERCO awards assess reputation based on a extensive analysis of various sources,‍ including surveys of healthcare professionals, patient feedback, and media‍ monitoring. Achieving the top ​ranking ​in Geriatrics signifies a commitment to high-quality care,innovative practices,and a strong positive perception among peers and patients. Dr. Pedro Abizanda, ⁣head of the Geriatrics Service at Albacete, was also‌ individually recognized, ranking as the fourth most reputable geriatrician nationally.

Beyond Geriatrics,‌ other Castilla-La‌ Mancha services also received honors.
