Woman Arrested for Threatening Federal Agents During Immigration Enforcement

BOSTON – A 37-year-old Malden, Massachusetts woman has been arrested and charged ⁣with threatening to kill federal⁢ agents while thay were conducting ⁣lawful immigration enforcement operations.

Bethany Abigail Terrill is charged with threatening a United⁣ States official and​ is scheduled to appear in federal court in Boston today at 1:30 pm.

according to charging documents,‌ the‍ incident occurred outside Malden District Court as agents were supporting Immigration Enforcement and⁣ removal Operations. Terrill allegedly interfered with the agents’ attempt to make an administrative⁣ immigration arrest, becoming physically disruptive ​and verbally abusive.

Terrill reportedly pushed through the agents⁤ while filming them with her mobile phone, shouting statements including,⁢ “ICE is here, ICE is here,” and “You guys are monsters.” ‍Despite repeated commands to back away, she allegedly continued to push into the agents.

The situation escalated when Terrill allegedly threatened the agents, ‌yelling, “Charlie Kirk died, and we love it… We’re‌ coming for you, gonna kill you.” ⁢The incident ⁢was recorded on ⁤the agents’ body-worn cameras and potentially on ⁣Terrill’s phone.

If⁣ convicted,‍ Terrill faces a potential sentence of up to 10 years in ‌prison,⁢ three ⁢years of supervised release, and a $250,000 fine.

U.S.Attorney Leah B. Foley and FBI Special Agent in Charge Ted⁢ E. Docks announced the charges. ⁤Assistant U.S. Attorney Luke ⁢A. Goldworm is prosecuting the case.
