Virginia Tech Seeks Coordinator to bolster Campus Recovery Community

Virginia Tech’s Division of Human Resources is actively⁢ recruiting a Recovery Community Coordinator to expand support services for students, faculty, and ​staff navigating recovery from substance use disorders. The newly created position aims to cultivate a more inclusive and ​supportive campus habitat, addressing a growing need for specialized resources.

The Recovery Community Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing,⁤ and evaluating programs and initiatives designed to support individuals in recovery.Key duties include facilitating support groups,coordinating ⁣educational workshops,and serving as a liaison between the university community and external recovery resources. The position also involves advocating for recovery-friendly policies and practices across ⁢campus.
