DesaKTa2 to Perform Free Concert at Fiesta Rivadavia en Colores 2026
The Rivadavia Department in San Juan Province will host a free concert featuring the popular cuarteto band DesaKTa2 on Saturday, February 28th, at the Parque de Rivadavia, beginning at 7:30 PM. The event, known as Rivadavia en Colores 2026, was announced by local Intendente Sergio Miodowsky during a press conference this Wednesday.
Miodowsky highlighted the growing importance of the festival as a cultural event for the department, attracting families, young people, and entrepreneurs. “The growth that the festival has had in recent years is remarkable,” he stated, according to Diario de Cuyo. “It has turn into a space for families, young people and entrepreneurs of the department.”
DesaKTa2’s performance is expected to draw a large crowd, as the band has gained significant momentum across Argentina. The concert will also feature Destino San Javier, offering a contrast in musical styles with their folkloric and romantic repertoire. Local artists Los Videla and La Joda are also scheduled to perform.
Beyond the musical performances, Rivadavia en Colores 2026 will include a fair for local entrepreneurs and a food truck sector, aiming to boost the regional economy. The event is free and open to the public, with organizers encouraging residents of Rivadavia and the wider San Juan community to attend.
The festival’s expansion reflects a deliberate effort by the Miodowsky administration to bolster cultural offerings within the department, according to Canal 13 San Juan. The Intendente was accompanied by provincial deputies Maru Lascano and Juan de la Cruz Córdoba during the announcement, signaling broad support for the event.
