Milan, Italy – Demi Moore debuted a striking fresh hairstyle and a head-to-toe leather ensemble at the Gucci Fall/Winter 2026 runway show on Friday, marking a significant departure from her signature long hair. The 63-year-old actress showcased a chin-grazing, blunt bob, styled with a “wet look” and a deep side part, alongside Demna’s first collection for the Italian fashion house.
The dramatic haircut, executed by celebrity stylist Dimitris Giannetos, was revealed as Moore arrived at Piazza VI Febbraio, accompanied by her dog, Pilaf. Giannetos shared a close-up of the transformation on Instagram, calling it the “Demi-tris BoB.”
Moore’s outfit consisted of skin-tight black leather pants and a matching zipped-up jacket, completed with pointed-toe pumps and oversized dark aviator sunglasses. The look drew comparisons to a similar all-leather outfit worn by Victoria Beckham in the early 2000s, as noted by W Magazine.
The change in hairstyle comes after years of Moore maintaining waist-grazing length locks, a style she described as a priority for “health over inches” in a recent interview with People. She had previously expressed being “protective of the length” of her hair.
During the show, Moore was seated in the front row alongside designer Donatella Versace, Kering CEO Luca de Meo, and Paris Hilton, among others. She was also photographed in conversation with Versace, who was honoring the late Valentino with a bright red coat.
Giannetos explained to InStyle that the bob was intended to be a “bold and fashion-forward look” inspired by the silhouettes of Demna’s new collection. “I felt an amazing, short, above the shoulder bob with this very sleek, wet texture would be perfect to complement her look,” he said. “It’s a big change for Demi – we’ve never seen her like this before! She looks very cool, effortless, and modern.”
Pilaf, Moore’s dog, has turn into a frequent companion at fashion events, having previously appeared on the red carpet at the Met Gala and even featured on the cover of Vogue’s “Dogue” magazine.
