Demi lovato Drops New Dance-Pop Single, ‘Here All Night’
Demi Lovato has released “Here All Night,” a new single signaling a return to dance-pop following recent explorations of her rock roots. The track arrives as Lovato prepares to finalize a full dance-pop album produced with Zhone, promising a vibrant new chapter in her musical evolution.
Lovato’s shift comes as the artist re-evaluates her career path and artistic identity. After revisiting her earlier rock sound with 2022’s Holy Fvck and a rock-infused remix album, Revamped, in 2023, Lovato is now focused on rediscovering what initially drew her to music and defining her future creative direction. “I felt like I had to go back to the beginning to figure that out,” Lovato told Teen Vogue last year, reflecting on her journey to understand her motivations and passions within the industry.
“Here All Night” features lyrics centered around finding freedom and healing through dance: “Begging for the bass ’til it’s hitting me right / Sweatin’ on the dance floor under the lights / To get over you / I’ll be here all night.” Zhone, who collaborated with Lovato on the upcoming album, described the creative process as joyful, noting, “we had so much fun making this music, and it really comes across throughout.”
