Delaware Valley HS Names February Students of the Month
Delaware Valley High School has recognized nine students as February Students of the Month, acknowledging their achievements in academics, athletics, career technology, and the fine arts. The students were selected by the school’s staff and administrators for demonstrating exceptional performance during February, and each received a Delaware Valley Warrior Nation T-shirt. Their names will be displayed on the school’s announcement board throughout March.
Among those honored are Kyra Palacios, a tenth-grade student recognized for achievement, and Brooke Nielsen, similarly in tenth grade, who was named Student of the Month. Colin Zellmer, a ninth-grader, also received the Student of the Month award. Kate Prior and Tyler Lombardo, both twelfth-graders, were recognized as Athletes of the Month.
Emma Angiolelli, an eleventh-grade student, was selected as Student of the Month, whereas Megan Dellavecchia, a tenth-grader, earned the Career Tech Student of the Month distinction. Dom Agron, a twelfth-grader, and Madison Curchoe, an eleventh-grader, were also honored as Students of the Month and Fine Arts Student of the Month, respectively.
Kyra Palacios is the daughter of Brooke Stanwood of Matamoras. Brooke Nielsen’s parents are Scott and Cheryl Nielsen of Milford. Colin Zellmer is the son of Bryan and Carla Zellmer of Shohola. Kate Prior’s parents are Thomas and Becky Prior of Milford, and Tyler Lombardo is the son of Thomas Lombardo and Cassie Napier of Milford.
Emma Angiolelli is the daughter of Audrey Angiolelli of Milford. Megan Dellavecchia’s parents are Dominic Dellavecchia and Jamie Farber of Dingmans Ferry. Dom Agron is the son of Dominick and Christine Agron of Dingmans Ferry, and Madison Curchoe’s parents are Ryan and Laura Curchoe of Milford.
Delaware Valley High School is one of 500 Unified Champion Schools in Pennsylvania, fostering an inclusive environment for students with and without disabilities through Unified sports and youth leadership programs, according to a recent announcement from the Delaware Valley School District.
