Three men have been accused in connection with the fatal shooting of rising Latin music star DELAROSA, whose real name is Daniel Alejandro Lora, in Los Angeles last November. Authorities describe the incident as a “ruthless and targeted attack.”
The 23-year-old singer,known for his corrido tumbado track “Don’t Call Me” released in August,was killed November 22nd. Two others were injured in the shooting.The case has drawn attention from Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman, who vowed to aggressively prosecute those responsible. “This is a ruthless and targeted attack that took the life of a young artist and caused profound, lifelong trauma to her family and two survivors,” Hochman stated. “My office will aggressively pursue this case to ensure that those responsible are held accountable for this senseless and deadly violence.”
One suspect was arrested the day of the shooting, with a court appearance scheduled for January 7, 2026, and bail set at $2,180,000. A second man was arrested November 23rd and was expected to be arraigned Wednesday,with bail at $2,280,000. An arrest warrant has been issued for the third defendant, whose bail is set at $2,205,000, and a future court date will be determined.
DELAROSA had recently been active in the studio, posting photos on Instagram October 30th showing instruments including an electric guitar and keyboard, accompanied by the message: “Busy cooking at the stu (…) It’s time.”
