Beloved Matriarch Patricia McEnnis Passes at Home

Ennis and Birr Mourn Loss of Cherished Family Member

Patricia McEnnis, a cherished resident of Lifford Road, Ennis, Co. Clare, and formerly of Birr, Co. Offaly, passed away peacefully at her home on July 27th. Her passing marks the end of an era for her devoted family and wide circle of friends.

A Life Richly Lived

Born Patricia Doolan, she was predeceased by her husband, Kevin. She also joins her daughter, Anne McEnnis Kelly, son-in-law Dermot Levey, sisters Renee, Billie, and Anne, as well as her brothers Dermot and Michael, in eternal rest.

Her memory will be kept alive by her loving daughters, Yvonne, Carol, Jackie, and Amy, and her son, Frank. She was also a treasured grandmother to Ronan, Colin, Suzy, Neal, Neev, Cian, Niamh, Stephen, Ailbhe, and Beibhinn, and a doting great-grandmother to Oran, Orla, Darragh, Olive, Ian, Zoe, Marcella, Tiana, and Timothée Soa. The family also includes sons-in-law Aiden O’Shea, Eoin Kelly, John McLaughlin, and Gerard Curran, daughter-in-law Juliette LeMarche, along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbours who will miss her dearly.

Services and Tributes

Patricia’s remains will repose at Daly’s Mortuary Chapel, Francis Street, Ennis, on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church on Wednesday at 10:30 AM, followed by interment at Drumcliffe Cemetery.

The family has arranged for the Funeral Mass to be accessible via livestream for those unable to attend in person. The service can be viewed at ennisparish.com.
