Deadline Extended: RSA Conference 2027 Call for Submissions
OASIS members received an extension until Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT to submit proposals for the RSA Conference 2027, groups.oasis-open.org reported. The event is scheduled to run from April 5 to 8 in San Francisco, giving technical committee and open project members additional time to pitch their work to the cybersecurity industry.
The submission window allows participants to target two distinct formats. Track sessions run for 50 minutes, accommodating solo presenters, joint speakers, or panel discussions. Learning Labs provide two-hour, hands-on experiences built around interactive exercises rather than traditional presentation slides. The official RSA Conference Call for Submissions page noted that all proposals must be submitted directly through the official RSA portal.
Competition Standards and Submission Volume
The previous cycle attracted more than 2,900 submissions reviewed by a program committee of over 80 judges, according to RSA Conference. Despite the high volume of applications, organizers emphasize that selection prioritizes quality over seniority. More than half of the speakers who take the stage each year are new to the event.
Speakers chosen for the program gain access to a dedicated Speaker Resource Center and a private Speaker Community Hub. They also receive multiple rounds of feedback from the program committee prior to the conference. Following the event, organizers record the sessions and host them on the RSAC Membership platform to extend visibility.
Support Tracking for OASIS Contributors
OASIS content manager Mary Beth Minto noted that all speakers must complete their submissions independently through the portal while offering organizational support along the way. Members planning to submit proposals were asked to add their entries to an internal OASIS tracker to coordinate assistance.
Submissions for the upcoming conference officially closed on the extended deadline of October 15, 2026. Accepted presenters will prepare for the April 5–8 event dates in San Francisco, where attendees average 10 years of experience in the cybersecurity field.
