Dave Grohl revealed that the foo Fighters have finished their upcoming new album. During a concert in Tasmania, Australia, over the weekend, Grohl told the crowd that new music is coming and that the band will return to Australia soon.
“This won’t be the last time you see us,” Grohl said. “We’ll be back here sooner than you think. And it’s before my next birthday.”
He added, “And we might have a whole new record of fucking songs that we just finished the other day.”
Grohl’s birthday is on jan. 14,meaning Foo Fighters will likely tour globally this year. The band has already announced a North American summer stadium tour, beginning Aug. 4 at Rogers Stadium in Toronto and concluding Sept. 26 in Las Vegas.
Foo Fighters’ last album, But Here We Are, was released in 2023. it was their first LP since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins.
