Meadowlark Media Adds New NFL Show
Dave Dameshek to host upcoming program on Dan Le Batard network.
As the 2025 NFL season draws closer, Dan Le Batard‘s Meadowlark Media is expanding its programming with a new football-focused show hosted by Dave Dameshek, promising a fresh voice for fans.
Dameshek Announces New Venture
This week, Dave Dameshek revealed on X that he will be hosting a new NFL show on the Le Batard network. He expressed his enthusiasm, stating that details would follow soon.
Do you like football?
Me, too.
Sounds like we have a lot in common, so I’m plum over the pigskin-shaped moon to let you know I’ll be doing an NFL show on the @LeBatardShow network starting in August.

The Pittsburgh native’s connection with Meadowlark Media isn’t new. For the past year, Dameshek has created social media content and digital videos for them, often centered around his signature “what if?” scenarios. Dameshek‘s work has previously been featured on NFL Media.
Transition at Meadowlark Media
The announcement of Dameshek‘s show comes during a period of change for Meadowlark Media, which was co-founded by Le Batard and former ESPN president John Skipper in 2021, after Le Batard’s departure from ESPN. While departures like Skipper’s have garnered attention, the addition of Dameshek is welcome news.
Dameshek‘s new show could naturally fill the void left by Jon “Stugotz” Weiner’s God Bless Football, which is no longer with Meadowlark Media. Though Le Batard‘s longtime co-host still appears on The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz, his NFL podcast has become independent, coinciding with Meadowlark’s renewed distribution agreement with DraftKings.
Dameshek‘s Background
In addition to hosting the weekly Shek Show podcast, Dameshek has an extensive background in comedy and radio. He has also hosted shows for ESPN, NFL.com, and Omaha Productions.
Additional details about the program will be released in the coming days. The NFL’s popularity continues to surge, with television viewership up 7% in 2024, showcasing the immense audience potential for Meadowlark’s new offering (Sports Media Watch).
