Daughters of Khaine: New Tome, Models & Rules for Warhammer Age of Sigmar

March 22, 2026 Dr. Michael Lee – Health Editor Health

Warhammer Age of Sigmar players will soon have a wealth of new options for the Daughters of Khaine, with Games Workshop announcing a new battle tome, miniatures, and terrain pieces focused on the bloodthirsty aelf cult. The release includes a comprehensive tome detailing the faction’s history and rules, alongside new plastic miniatures representing elite units like the Blood Sisters and Melusai Blood Stalkers.

The new tome, available in both standard and a smaller “Gamer’s Edition” with reference cards, provides updated rules and options for playing the Daughters of Khaine, including new “For the Glory” rules and enhancements to the “Apothéose Engine” for narrative campaigns. The Gamer’s Edition includes 44 reference cards covering rules and unit profiles, designed for ease of utilize during gameplay.

Among the new miniatures are the Blood Sisters, described as the elite aelf warriors of Morathi, equipped with formidable bidents and tasked with defending sacred sites. A set of 10 plastic Blood Sisters is available, with options to build one as a standard bearer. Also released is the Dark Tribute Altar, a new terrain piece reflecting the cult’s ritualistic practices, which can be assembled to represent devotion to either Morathi-Khaine or Moraï-Heg.

The Melusai Ironscale, powerful leaders of the Moirenai, are also being re-released as a standalone miniature, having previously been available only within the Daughters of Khaine Spearhead box. These serpentine archers are described as particularly vengeful, targeting those who harm other devotees of Khaine.

Several new sets offer pre-assembled armies or reinforcements. The “Purple Whiplash” Regiment of Renown provides a Great Gladiatrix leading ten Slaughter Sisters, usable in both Order alliance armies and dedicated Daughters of Khaine forces. The “Khainite Shadow Coterie” spearhead box contains a Slaughter Queen on Cauldron of Blood, a Hag Queen, nine Khainite Shadowstalkers, and ten Slaughter Sisters. A “Moirenai Coterie” battleforce features Morathi-Khaine herself, alongside five Khinerai Lifetakers (which can also be built as Khinerai Egoretakers) and ten Blood Sisters, also configurable as Blood Stalkers.

The release of these products comes as Morathi-Khaine continues to consolidate her power within the Mortal Realms, having ascended to godhood after scheming her way into divinity, according to Warhammer Community. The Daughters of Khaine, described as a “glass-cannon melee army” that rewards aggressive playstyles, are a prominent force within the Grand Alliance of Order, though their allegiance remains “uneasy,” as noted in a Warhammer Age of Sigmar faction focus.

Several of the new releases are available only while supplies last, including the “Khainite Shadow Coterie” and “Moirenai Coterie” battleforces, as well as the Gamer’s Edition of the battle tome and the Daughters of Khaine Charter and Dice Cards.
