Dairy Queen Videos & Story Ideas – Trending Now

February 14, 2026 Dr. Michael Lee – Health Editor Health

Wilmington, Delaware – Local authorities are investigating after multiple teenagers reported finding pills inside their Dairy Queen Blizzards. The incident, which occurred earlier this week, prompted the teens to pull over for assistance, according to Wilmington police.

Police have not yet released details regarding the type of pills discovered or the number of Blizzards affected. The investigation is ongoing and authorities are working to determine how the pills ended up in the frozen treats. A statement from the Wilmington Police Department confirmed they are treating the matter seriously and are collaborating with Dairy Queen corporate officials.

The incident comes amid separate, unrelated events involving the Dairy Queen chain. In East Liverpool, Ohio, a Dairy Queen employee was allegedly assaulted by a customer following a dispute over a misfilled order, as reported by WFMJ.com. The altercation, captured on video, shows a worker being punched. Police are investigating that incident separately.

Meanwhile, Dairy Queen recently announced a change to its policy regarding “Pup Cups” – small servings of whipped cream offered to canine customers. According to a report from TwistedSifter, the company is now charging for these treats, a departure from previous practice. This policy shift has drawn criticism from some dog owners.

In a more positive development for the brand, a Dairy Queen in Texas recently celebrated a couple who met whereas ordering Blizzards with wedding treats, as reported by CBS News. The celebration highlights the brand’s connection to customer milestones, though it stands in stark contrast to the current investigation in Delaware.

As of Friday evening, Dairy Queen corporate had not issued a public statement regarding the Wilmington incident. Police have indicated they will provide updates as the investigation progresses.
