Dacia Sandero Facelift Revealed wiht Updated Styling and Powertrain Options
Dacia is set to introduce a refreshed Sandero, featuring a revised exterior design and updated powertrain choices. The facelifted model sports a redesigned bumper with more black plastic elements, notably around the wheel arches. The radiator grille’s Dacia Link logo is now framed by a double row of peaks, a design cue also present on the front air intake below the bumper. The lighting signature has also been updated, reinterpreting the brand’s signature “Y” shape.
While official details and clear images of the interior are not yet available, significant changes are anticipated. The cabin is expected to incorporate a new 10-inch touchscreen, similar to the one found in the Duster. Additionally, the analog instrument cluster behind the steering wheel is likely to be replaced by a digital unit.
In terms of powertrains, reports suggest the 1-liter, three-cylinder engine will be replaced by a 1.2-liter (HR12) version. The 100 hp variants will be joined by a 115 hp mild-hybrid option and a 120 hp version compatible with LPG. A notable addition will be the integration of a hybrid system utilizing the 1.8-liter thermal engine, which debuted in the Dacia Bigster. This hybrid Sandero will offer slightly less power than its larger sibling. Furthermore, the updated Sandero will be available with a new six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DW23).
