Stephen Curry Reflects on Longevity and NBA Career Goals
Stephen Curry has shared his outlook on the NBA offseason and his approach too extending his career. The Golden State Warriors star finds the period between seasons more challenging than the regular season itself, describing the latter as a familiar routine of training, rest days, and the enjoyment of competition.
“For me, the offseason is usually more challenging than the regular season,” Curry stated. “Once you reach 82 games,it’s like a repetition. You know what you have to do: Train, the days off, you love playing and the games are the funniest, the games are hilarious. You lose yourself in the game. that is the easy part.”
Curry emphasized his desire to maximize his impact and achievements in the sport. “If I manage to overcome all the seasons, I think that is the indicator of how long I can move on,” he explained. “I just want to be in a position where I have achieved something or put me in a position where I can say that I have done everything possible to, you know, get the most out of this sport. And I hope to have, you know, my health and the possibility of saying that I am satisfied even though I am not even close to that.”
