Crystal Wing Awards 2025: Winners, Highlights & Slovak Celebrity Guests
Bratislava – The 29th annual Krištáľové krídlo (Crystal Wing) awards ceremony will be held on March 21, 2026, at STVR, recognizing individuals who have significantly contributed to the development of Slovakia through their work, talent, and values. This year’s nominees span a diverse range of fields, including visual arts, and entertainment.
Among those nominated are singer Dara Rolins and actor Milan Ondrík, as reported by multiple Slovak news outlets. Alena Heribanová will receive the Extraordinary Award at the gala, acknowledging her exceptional contributions. Over 340 nominations were submitted by the public and carefully evaluated by expert juries to select the thirty exceptional personalities recognized this year.
In the field of visual arts, Ján Vasilko and Vít Bojňanský are competing for the award. Vasilko’s work, which blends personal experiences with societal themes, has been exhibited in Prague and Vienna, and he received the Cena Martina Benku in 2025. Bojňanský’s diverse artistic practice, encompassing sculpture, painting, and monumental installations, was showcased in exhibitions in Poprad and Bratislava last year.
The selection process involved a rigorous assessment of nominations, emphasizing achievements over popularity, according to organizers. The awards ceremony, broadcast live on STVR, will reveal the winners in ten categories, alongside the presentation of the Extraordinary Award to Heribanová.
