Dream Cruises Ship Rescues Man in Distress in Strait of Melaka

SINGAPORE - A man was rescued from a distressed vessel in the Strait of Melaka on Sunday, September 3, by the cruise ship Genting Dream, operated by Dream Cruises.
The Genting Dream,en route from Singapore to Phuket on a three-night voyage,detected distress signals from an individual in a small boat. Rescue protocols were immediately initiated, according to a statement released by Dream Cruises.
The rescued man was brought aboard the ship and provided with food, water, and a thorough medical assessment by the ship’s medical team. Dream Cruises reports that he is currently in stable condition and receiving ongoing care.
