Choreographer and Reality TV Star Criscilla Anderson Dies at 45 after Colon Cancer Battle
Criscilla Anderson, a choreographer known for her work with Britney Spears and as a star of the Netflix reality series “Country Ever After,” has died of colon cancer at the age of 45. The announcement was made Tuesday via a post on her Instagram account,shared by friend Lindsey Villatoro.
Anderson rose to prominence as the wife of country singer Coffey Anderson, and the couple documented their lives, including her cancer diagnosis and treatment, on the 2020 Netflix show.She announced her own passing in a statement released thru Villatoro, writing, ”If you’re reading this, I’ve finally slipped into the arms of Jesus – peacefully and surrounded by love.” She continued, ”Please don’t stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. … I am not gone… I’m Home.”
Villatoro expressed her grief, stating, “My heart is shattered to share this. I promised Criscilla I would walk this journey with her whenever she couldn’t stand on her own two feet, and I pray she knows how fiercely she was loved. Being by her side until the very end was the greatest honor of my life.”
Married to coffey Anderson since 2009, Criscilla Anderson is survived by three children: son Ethan, and daughters Emmarie and Everleigh. She was also a stepmother to coffey’s daughter,Savannah,from a previous relationship.
In a final message to her children, shared in the Instagram post, Anderson wrote, “To my children – my whole heart. Ethan, you made me a mom. I’m still beside you, cheering you on. Savannah, my bonus girl – you were a gift God knew I needed. Emmarie, my Jesus-loving dancer – keep dancing through every season. Everleigh, my shining spark – chase your dreams boldly and without fear.” She concluded with a message of enduring love: “My babies… I am watching over you.When a moment feels warm, familiar, or too gorgeous to be coincidence – that’s me. I’m still mothering you. I’m still yours.”
