Pop star Olivia Rodrigo shows that she is not only concerned with her music, but also the well-being of her team: During her 102 shows comprehensive “Guts” tour, she paid her band and crew psychotherapy-very straightforward.
Guitarist Daisy Spencer said in the Podcast Stage Left that she had enthusiastically accepted the offer. “To be honest, it was one of the coolest things that ever happened on tour,” she said. Mental support was also available during the tour breaks – a rarity in the industry.

Open to mental health
Rodrigo has often emphasized how important therapy is personally for you. No wonder her father is a family therapist. “Many think when they hear my songs that I am totally sad and depressed, it is not true”she said in an interview with CBS in 2021.
In addition to her music, the 21-year-old is also committed to social issues: she has contraceptives distributed at concerts, donates parts of the ticket revenue to organizations for the right to abortion and clearly speaks against US President Donald Trump.
