The aim is to raise awareness of the issue of trace substances and to offer a platform to those who show initiative to protect water, the regional council informs in a statement. The competition fits into the trace substance strategy Hessisches Ried, which is implemented by the state of Hesse and municipalities, authorities, agriculture, environmental and nature conservation associations and industry.
