Mora Completes First Colorado State Football Signing Class
fort Collins, colo. – Colorado State University head football coach Jay Norvell has announced the addition of 11 student-athletes in his first signing class, solidifying the program’s initial steps toward rebuilding under his leadership. The class includes players from eight different states, addressing needs across multiple positions.
This inaugural class arrives as Norvell aims to revitalize a Rams program that finished 3-9 overall and 2-6 in Mountain West Conference play in 2022. The incoming group represents a foundational component of Norvell’s vision, signaling a commitment to recruiting geographically and prioritizing both immediate impact players and long-term developmental prospects.
Offensive line support arrives with Packs Ahovelo (6-5, 352, Waimanalo, Hawaii/kailua) and Max Vivier (6-5, 280, Hagerstown, Md./Saint James School). On the defensive side, the Rams added depth with linebacker Mickey Williams (6-3, 220, San Francisco, Calif./Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep) and defensive linemen TaVeon Robinson (6-5, 308, Olathe, kans./Hutchinson Community College) and Desman manuel (6-0, 295, cedar Hill, Texas/Cedar Hill).
The class also features skill position players including wide receivers Troy Foster (6-1, 202, Los Alamitos, Calif./Huntington Beach) and Isaiah Watson (6-0, 180, Aurora, Colo./vista Peak Prep), running back Cedric Ross (5-8, 173, Lubbock, Texas/Estacado), defensive back Justin Lewis (6-1, 159, San Bernardino, Calif./Rancho Cucamonga), quarterback Carter Emanuel (6-2, 205, Orlando, Fla./Edgewater), and linebacker jaylen King (6-2, 192, Clayton, N.C./Cleveland).
