Traffic appeared to be particularly heavy on the A31 throughout the day, to the point of surprising many motorists caught up in unexpected delays on Saturday. The first day of the sales combined with the return of the Luxembourgers from their holidays traffic visibly congested on the Moselle furrow. Around 6 pm there was no shortage: in Thionville, near the Kinepolis exit, a rear-end collision caused two minor injuries. They were evacuated to the emergency room of the Misericordia hospital as a block of more than 4 kilometers was formed in a north-south direction. By 7pm traffic is slowly returning to normal but be warned there are still a lot of you on the A31 tonight. So be careful.
