Colin Braun to Drive Kaulig Racing RAM Truck at St. Petersburg 2024

Colin Braun will drive the No. 25 Kaulig Racing truck in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at the St. Petersburg street circuit on Saturday, February 28th. This marks Braun’s first NASCAR truck series start in nearly 15 years, according to multiple reports.

Braun, a highly accomplished road course racer with 24 IMSA victories to his name, joins Kaulig Racing as part of their free agent program for the event. The team is fielding a truck under the Ram banner for this race, as confirmed by Jayski’s NASCAR Silly Season Site.

Kaulig Racing has positioned Braun as a specialist for the St. Petersburg race, leveraging his extensive road racing experience. Sports Illustrated highlighted Braun’s status as a “road racing star” in announcing the driver assignment. The St. Petersburg race is a unique event on the NASCAR Truck Series schedule, taking place on a temporary street circuit.

Braun’s last NASCAR Truck Series start came in 2011. His return to the series with Kaulig Racing represents a new opportunity to showcase his skills on a different racing platform. MSN reported that Braun is joining Ram to run the race.
