Landman‘ Season Three on Track for Swift Production, ⁣Co-Creator ‌Reveals

LOS ANGELES – A third season of Paramount+’s hit drama Landman is anticipated to follow a similar one-year turnaround as its predecessors, according to co-creator⁢ Taylor ‌Sheridan. The series, which premiered its second season this month, has quickly garnered a dedicated following with its immersive portrayal of the ⁤high-stakes world of oil ⁤drilling.

Sheridan emphasized that the show’s core themes transcend current events, stating, ‌”It informs everything we do in the story,‌ we’re not beholden to who’s in office or what the market is doing at that time. It informs us, rather than dictates.” This ‌approach allows Landman to maintain creative independence and focus on the enduring human stories within the oil industry. The rapid production schedule reflects a commitment to minimizing wait times for viewers and maintaining momentum for the cast ‌and crew.

The creative team is already eager to begin ⁤work ⁣on season three, with‍ Sheridan expressing a strong desire to reunite with the ensemble. “We hate to make people wait too⁢ long, and we’re all excited to get back and do it‍ again,”‌ he said. “After we⁤ wrap, a couple weeks later, we’re like,⁣ ‘Dang, I miss everybody’ – cast and crew. We have such a great crew.”

While a formal renewal has not yet been announced, Sheridan voiced optimism about the show’s future. “Of course I am [feeling good about season three renewal]. I’m really ⁣looking forward to it,” he shared, clarifying that his anticipation remains contingent on an official green light.

The second season of Landman is currently streaming on Paramount+, ‌with new episodes released weekly on Sundays. The series stars Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy⁣ Norris and features a supporting cast that has ⁣resonated with audiences.
