CM Punk has opened up about the⁤ challenges‍ he faced following his ​departure‌ from WWE in 2014, a period complicated ‍by his‍ wife, AJ Lee, continuing to wrestle with the company for another year. The revelation ⁤came during ⁣a​ recent ⁢appearance on​ Kevin Hart’s⁣ Cold As Balls interview series, as reported by Wrestling ⁣Inc.

The strain on thier relationship during that time ultimately strengthened their bond, according to Punk.‌ He explained that Lee’s‌ continued involvement ⁢with WWE‌ created a tough dynamic,​ but paved the ⁢way for a⁤ more supportive partnership as they both navigated their respective careers. “It was difficult because when I left, she was still​ with the company for a year.
