Club Brugge Nears Agreement for Inter Milan Midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic

Club Brugge is reportedly on the verge of finalizing an agreement with Italian club Internazionale for the transfer of young midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic. The 19-year-old Serbian talent is expected to make the move to Belgium for a fee in the region of 10 million euros.

According to various Italian media outlets, the Belgian club is close to securing the services of the defensive midfielder. The proposed deal is understood to include a repurchase clause for inter Milan, set between 25 and 28 million euros, along with a 10% sell-on percentage for any future resale of the player.

Stankovic enjoyed a noteworthy season in Switzerland with Lucerne, where he was on loan from Inter Milan. His consistent performances throughout the campaign have reportedly caught the eye of several clubs, highlighting his growing potential in the sport.

This potential acquisition could also serve to preemptively address a more immediate concern for Club Brugge: the uncertain future of Raphael Onyedika. With Premier League clubs showing interest in the midfielder, Stankovic’s arrival could provide valuable depth and cover
