Adobe Premiere Pro users collaborating on projects are encountering an issue where clip markers-markers applied directly to clips within a sequence-fail to transfer reliably between systems. despite using the same Premiere Pro version and maintaining identical media folder structures, markers are not visible on the receiving system upon project opening, even with correct media linking.
The workaround requires toggling specific XMP preferences and multiple Premiere Pro restarts to force a cache rebuild, suggesting a problem with XMP ID or clip metadata refresh. This behavior is problematic because these markers are stored in source clip metadata, not the sequence itself, leading editors to expect automatic transfer with shared projects and identical media paths.
