Clémentine Célarié Finds Sanctuary in Brittany Family Home
BAZOUGES-LA-PÉROUSE, FRANCE – As clémentine Célarié stars in the upcoming TF1 mini-series Family Inquiry, the celebrated actress consistently returns to a cherished refuge far from the Parisian bustle: a family home in Brittany, a region deeply woven into the fabric of her life. The series, filming in Brittany’s Bazouges-la-Pérouse, Rennes, and Guichen, offers a convenient proximity to a place holding decades of personal importance for the 67-year-old actress.
This connection isn’t merely logistical; it’s a deeply rooted emotional anchor. Célarié’s family purchased a property in Brittany when she was just six years old, initiating a lifelong pattern of return visits-particularly to be with her mother. The enduring appeal of this region, and the home within it,speaks to the importance of familial ties and finding solace in a natural environment, offering a glimpse into the private life of a beloved public figure.
Célarié described her constant return to Brittany in TV 7 Jours, explaining, “My parents bought a house there when I was 6 years old, and sence then I have been going back to it constantly. In particular to see my mother.” While maintaining a primary residence in Paris, she cherishes the chance for “iodized getaways” to the coastal region.
The family’s presence in Brittany expanded over time with the purchase and renovation of barns on the Crozon peninsula in Finistère. Célarié, a recent fighter against colon cancer, has previously described the region’s allure in Notre temps, stating, “Beautiful, wild, natural and preserved… there is a powerful energy combining the forces of the land and the sea. It’s magic!”
Visits also provide precious time with her 94-year-old mother, whom she describes to Télé 7 Jours as possessing “extraordinary force” and representing “a form of instinctive feminism.” Célarié also shares a close bond with her three sons – Abraham Diallo dit Tismé (with Henri Diallo),Gustave and Balthazar (with Christophe Reichert) – and delights in her role as a grandmother. “Two of them already have a family. I like their companions like my daughters. And when I am with my grandchildren, who are 2 and 4 years old, I feel like I am their age,” she shared with the magazine.
