Citroën is expanding its crossover SUV offerings with new versions of the C3 Aircross, including a fully electric model, aiming for a competitive position in the compact vehicle market. The French automaker is now offering the C3 Aircross with gasoline, hybrid, and all-electric powertrains.

The ë-C3 Aircross, the all-electric variant, boasts a range of up to 400 kilometers (approximately 248 miles) according to WLTP testing standards. This places it in direct competition with other compact electric SUVs. The electric model utilizes a 54 kWh battery and an 83 kW (113 PS) electric motor, resulting in an energy consumption of 18.1 to 18.4 kWh per 100 km and zero CO₂ emissions. The dimensions of the electric version remain consistent with the gasoline and hybrid models, measuring 4.39 meters in length.

Alongside the electric option, Citroën continues to offer the C3 Aircross with traditional combustion engines. The gasoline version, the C3 Aircross Turbo 100 Stop&Start, delivers 74 kW (101 PS) and fuel economy between 5.9 and 6.0 liters per 100 km, with CO₂ emissions ranging from 135 to 136 g/km. A hybrid version, the C3 Aircross Hybrid 145 ë-DCS6, combines a combustion engine with an electric motor for a combined system output of 107 kW (145 PS), achieving a fuel consumption of 5.3 l/100 km and CO₂ emissions of 120-121 g/km.

Citroën emphasizes the C3 Aircross’s interior flexibility, highlighting a 60/40 split-folding rear bench seat and an optional folding front passenger seat, creating a maximum cargo length of 2.40 meters. The vehicle also features the new Citroën Head-up Display, which projects driving information onto a glossy black area between the dashboard and windshield. Advanced Comfort seats are also available, designed to enhance passenger comfort.

The C3 Aircross is marketed as a versatile SUV suitable for families and active lifestyles, offering up to seven seats in its most compact configuration. The automaker is promoting leasing options for the new models through its Easy Drive program. Pricing and detailed specifications are available through the Citroën C-Book and price lists.
