“Happy’s Place” ⁢Season 2‍ bolsters Cast with Christopher Lloyd, Carol Kane, and Cheri Oteri

Universal Television’s “Happy’s Place” is⁣ adding significant ​star power to its second season with the ‍casting of Christopher Lloyd, Carol ⁣Kane, and ‍Cheri Oteri. ⁣The series, ⁤which ⁤follows bobbie (Reba McEntire)⁤ as she ‍navigates inheriting her father’s tavern and a newly discovered half-sister, Isabella ⁣(Belissa Escobedo), is ⁤set ​to reopen ⁣its‍ doors and unearth a long-buried ⁤secret.

The additions of Lloyd, ‌Kane, and Oteri signal​ a heightened focus on character-driven ⁢storylines as “Happy’s ‌Place” delves deeper into the​ complexities of family and loyalty. Season 2 promises to test relationships within the tavern‌ as the central mystery unfolds, building on the ​show’s theme‌ that family is defined by those who stand beside ⁢you, not by blood.

Lloyd will portray Clive,a man who returns to⁢ Happy’s Place after losing his phone. Kane will play⁣ Theresa, Clive’s wife, ⁢described‍ as a free-spirited woman pursuing justice and ‌excitement. Oteri is set to play Monica, a meticulous health inspector⁤ assigned to the tavern.

The cast also ⁤includes Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, ​Tokala Black Elk, and Rex linn. Kevin Abbott writes and executive produces alongside McEntire, Michael Hanel, Mindy Schultheis, Matt Berry, and Pamela Fryman. Abbott‍ co-created⁢ the series with Julie Abbott.

Lloyd is a celebrated actor known for ⁢his iconic role in⁤ the “Back ‍to the Future” trilogy, and also performances ‌in “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” and “taxi.”​ He recently received ​his fourth Emmy nomination ‍for his⁤ guest role‌ in “Hacks” and appears in season 2 of‌ “Wednesday” and “Nobody 2.” He is⁢ represented by gersh and Jacob Greenspan.

Kane, also a veteran of “Taxi,” is an Oscar nominee for ‌”Hester Street” ​and ​a​ two-time Emmy winner with credits including “Chicago Hope,” “Unbreakable​ Kimmy Schmidt,” “Hunters,” “Big Mouth,” and “The simpsons.” She ‍is repped by Liebman Entertainment and Stewart Talent.

Oteri, ⁤a former “Saturday‍ Night ⁣Live” cast member, has recently appeared in Hulu’s “Mid Century Modern” and HBO Max’s “And Just Like That.” Her filmography includes “Scary Movie,” “Inspector gadget,” “Liar⁣ Liar,” and “Dumb and ‍Dumberer.”⁤ She is represented by Brave⁣ Artists Management and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman,⁢ Smelkinson & Christopher.
