TNA honors Chris Bey with All Star Award Following Injury Recovery
ALBANY, GA – TNA Wrestling presented Chris Bey with the All Star Award at Bound For glory on October 15, 2025, recognizing his positive impact and inspiring return to the ring after a period of recovery. The award was presented during the event, acknowledging Bey’s dedication and the uplifting energy he brings to the TNA roster and fans.
Bey’s return to form was highlighted by TNA’s Carlos Silva, who noted a significant change in the wrestler’s demeanor since seeing him several months prior.”Chris walked in,and Chris was different than he was 3-4 months ago when I saw him,” Silva said. “Chris was now not just a guy that had been injured and was working to get better, it was like he was back. And the way he was moving,and the way that,of course,he was smiling,and the positive energy that he gives off – it felt so good for me to see that.” The award serves as a testament to Bey’s perseverance and the positive influence he has within the promotion.
The All Star Award recognizes individuals who contribute substantially to TNA beyond their in-ring performance. bey, a three-time TNA Tag Team Champion alongside Ace Austin (now with AEW), has expressed a desire to contribute behind the scenes while recovering from injury, offering support and guidance to fellow wrestlers.
In accepting the award, Bey emphasized the collaborative spirit within TNA and shared encouraging news regarding his health. “I’ll keep it simple: obviously, this award belongs to all of us. God is grate. I’ve had a tough year, but a fun year still, because I like journeys,” Bey stated. He also announced his official discharge from physical therapy, adding, “But, also, I like to watch what you guys do because it motivates me, it makes me work harder…So you guys keep doing what you do. I’ll keep doing what I do. And together we’ll keep winning. I love you all.”
