Chimney Lift offers science workshops and activities this October
Children visiting the Chimney Lift this October half-term can take part in static electricity workshops, a landmark-spotting challenge 109 meters above London, and photo opportunities with Charlie the Chimney. All activities are included with a Chimney Lift ticket at no extra cost.
Science Workshops and Landmark Challenges Run During Half-Term
Wild Science presents Frightfully Static workshops featuring a Nutty Professor. The fast-paced, hands-on sessions demonstrate spooky electric science designed to float foil ribbons and make bats and spiders move without physical contact. The workshops run on Tuesday 27, Wednesday 28, and Thursday 29 October, with sessions scheduled at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
In addition to the science workshops, children can take part in the I Spy London Landmarks Challenge throughout the half-term. Participants collect an activity sheet and crayons to identify famous London sights from the top of the lift. Completing the challenge earns visitors a stamp and a sweet treat, alongside a daily chance to win a Charlie the Chimney soft toy.
Charlie the Chimney Appears for Halloween Photo Opportunities
Charlie the Chimney will make special appearances in a Halloween outfit before visitors make their ascent. Photo opportunities are scheduled for Monday 26 October, Wednesday 28 October, and Sunday 1 November, with time slots at 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm.

Participation in the Wild Science workshops, the landmark challenge, and character meet-and-greets requires a Chimney Lift ticket. No additional bookings are necessary to take part in the half-term activities.
