Chiefs’ Mike Danna Plans Engagement Gift for Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce

KANSAS CITY, MO – Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and singer⁤ Taylor swift are engaged, news that broke Tuesday⁢ and quickly spread through‍ the ⁢NFL team. The ‌announcement came via Swift‘s Instagram,‌ featuring photos‍ of the proposal, and ⁢just hours before kelce returned ‌to practice.

the engagement quickly ⁤became a topic during Chiefs practice, with defensive end felix Danna learning of ‌the news just 30 seconds before speaking to reporters. “I just got told 30 seconds ago,” Danna said.”But that’s awesome. I’m so happy for them – Trav, Taylor, that’s a wonderful time in their life. A wonderful part of their journey. That’s a gorgeous thing to see.” Danna noted he’s⁢ only been around⁢ Swift “once or twice,”⁣ but expressed happiness‍ for ​the couple, adding, “That’s a great thing to⁢ see.Seeing them settle ‌down, seeing all [those] happy smiles and happy faces ​between the two.”

Beyond the​ engagement, Swift ⁣has become a popular figure​ among the Chiefs players for her baking, specifically her Pop-Tarts. “Listen, them ‌things will get you in trouble,” Danna said Tuesday. “those are dessert ​and those are fire.If you have one, best believe you’re gonna want two. ‍maybe three. ⁢She did Pop-Tarts for the whole⁤ position groups. ​The D-line was all over ⁤those.” Danna added ​that after discovering the Pop-Tarts were from Swift, the team requested “about four more ​boxes ​of those.”

Offensive lineman Chris Jones was so impressed with ⁢Swift’s baking​ that he sought out the recipe. “You know what, shout-out to Tay Tay,” Jones, 31, told the Kansas City⁢ Star in Febuary. “Her Pop-Tarts are⁤ amazing.” He continued, “I was asking trav [because] I don’t know how she gets the crust of the Pop-Tarts so fire. The‌ crust tastes⁢ like biscuits, I swear to you. But, shout-out to Tay Tay, she’s a⁢ real one.”

The Chiefs are preparing‍ to ‍travel to São Paulo, Brazil, to begin the regular season against the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday, September 5.
