Huge Dee is favored to win the Cheltenham Raceday Limerick On 12th March Handicap Hurdle at Limerick Racecourse today, February 10, 2026, according to forecasts from Sporting Life.
The handicap hurdle, for horses aged four and over, is being run on a heavy turf course over a distance of one mile, seven furlongs and 150 yards. A total of 14 runners are competing for a €9,999 prize fund, with the winner receiving €6,000.
Trainer E McCarthy’s Big Dee, a useful winner in bumpers, is currently priced at 9/4. The horse delivered its best hurdle performance with a third-place finish on the course and distance 45 days ago, and is expected to improve on that showing.
Wild Wild Wind is the second favorite at 11/2, followed by Marelly at 6/1. Marelly won a 15-runner handicap hurdle at Gowran 19 days ago and will be attempting to repeat that success off a 7 lb higher weight. Atlantic Gamble is too at 7/1.
Other contenders include Dontcavein at 15/2, and Le Fanu at 8/1. Gaoithe Glory is priced at 14/1, having finished ninth of 15 in a handicap hurdle at the same course 45 days ago.
Among the longer odds are Las Brisas Boy at 18/1, Glens Sensation at 25/1, Mudslide Molly at 33/1, Falcon Park at 40/1, and Ferdia at 100/1. Ferdia, aged 10, has not secured a win since 2022 and was pulled up in a handicap hurdle at Thurles 12 days ago.
The racecard details show James Smith will ride Atlantic Gamble, while Brian Barry is the jockey for Ferdia. Calum Hogan is set to ride Marelly, and Carl Millar will be on Big Dee. Eoin Walsh is scheduled to ride Dontcavein, and Patrick M O’Brien will ride Gaoithe Glory.
Bobbisilver has been declared a non-runner, with a weight of 11-0 and trainer P J Gilligan.
The Sporting Life forecast indicates Marelly, Big Dee, and Wild Wild Wind as the leading contenders, with a potential market move for Atlantic Gamble also being considered.
