Checco Zalone‘s “Buen Camino” Set for Christmas Day Release
Rome, Italy – Teh official poster has been released for “Buen Camino,” the upcoming film starring Italian comedian Checco Zalone, directed by Gennaro Nunziante. The comedy is slated to premiere in Italian cinemas on December 25th.
this marks Zalone’s return to collaborating with Nunziante, the director behind some of his biggest hits, following Zalone’s self-directed film, “Tolo Tolo.” Five years after his last film, Zalone co-wrote “Buen Camino” with Nunziante.
The film, produced by Indiana Production with Medusa Film, in collaboration with MZL and Netflix, was shot in Italy and Spain during July and August. “Buen Camino” centers on the heir to a sofa manufacturing empire whose life is upended when his teenage daughter goes missing. He embarks on a journey along the Camino de Santiago, transforming the search into a pilgrimage filled with challenges and self-discovery.
Pre-sales for “Buen Camino” began on November 17th. The cast includes Beatriz Arjona, Letizia Arnò, and Martina colombari. The film aims to blend Zalone’s signature humor with a more introspective narrative of personal growth and reconciliation.
