Charlotte Gains Industry Experience Through Dodge Career Center
Charlotte, a senior studying Writing for Film and Television at Dodge College, secured two entertainment industry internships and planned campus-wide events through the University Program Board before her 2027 graduation. Her path demonstrates how undergraduate training, career center resources, and scholarship support connect students directly to professional entertainment roles.
Literary and Talent Internships at Atlas Entertainment and 42 Management
The journey through the entertainment sector began with two distinct positions secured via the Dodge Career Center. Over the summer, she worked as a second assistant at Atlas Entertainment. That literary internship involved reading client scripts and supplying feedback while observing the daily operations of talent, literary, and development departments. Before that summer concluded, she accepted a talent internship with 42 Management & Production, where she familiarized herself with client rosters and submitted talent for various projects.
Classroom preparation directly influenced her readiness for those desks. She credits courses like Agents and Managers within her major for providing the foundational confidence necessary to pursue and handle industry assignments. Non-major coursework, including a marketing class, also helped her manage the business side of film and television.

Campus Events and Scholarships Support Her University Experience
Beyond the classroom and internships, campus life played a defining role in her routine. She attended at least one University Program Board event every month, balancing her studies with planning large-scale campus gatherings like the Fall Concert and Spring Sizzle. Those responsibilities brought her into contact with peers outside Dodge College, expanding her perspective on the university community.
Financial backing underpinned the entire experience. Scholarship support from the Chapman Fund made the trajectory possible, easing financial pressure on her family and allowing her to focus entirely on her academic and professional development. Gifts directed to the fund continue to generate similar opportunities for students across campus departments as graduation approaches in 2027.
