Charlie Sheen ‌and Denise Richards ⁤Share Red​ Carpet Moment at Documentary Premiere

LOS ANGELES​ – Charlie Sheen ​and ex-wife Denise Richards⁢ reunited on ⁣the red carpet⁣ at⁣ the ⁤premiere of the Netflix documentary If You Leave Me, held Wednesday night at the TCL Chinese Theater in ⁤Hollywood.The ⁣pair, who were married from 2002 to 2006 and share two daughters, posed for photos ⁤together, marking⁣ a rare public appearance as a family unit in recent ‌years.The premiere offered a glimpse into Sheen’s tumultuous‍ life⁣ and career, and the documentary itself has been praised for revealing a surprisingly stable side of the actor.⁢ Director Andrew Renzi noted the unexpected reassurance Sheen provided during​ the filmmaking process, ​stating, “I never⁤ coudl have imagined that Charlie and this project ‌would be the most stable‌ and⁢ reassuring presence in my‍ life… It’s ‍no secret that Charlie‍ has ‌been defined ‌in the public by having‍ an‌ unmatched,⁢ mercurial ⁢and unpredictable persona.”

The ⁣documentary chronicles Sheen’s ​rise to⁤ fame, his ​highly publicized‍ struggles with addiction and personal issues, and‌ his⁣ eventual diagnosis with⁣ HIV. It features interviews with ‍Sheen himself, ⁣as well as those close to him, including ⁢ Two and​ a half Men costar Jon Cryer,⁤ who ‌participated ‍in the documentary but did not attend the premiere.

Notably absent from the event were Sheen’s ‍father, Martin Sheen, and brother, Emilio Estevez, neither of ​whom participated in the film.‍ Renzi​ described​ Sheen as “a Hollywood icon that will never ‍exist again,” suggesting the documentary captures ​a unique moment in celebrity history. If You Leave Me begins streaming⁢ on Netflix November 15th.
