Charlie Puth Welcomes First Child with Wife Brooke Sansone
Singer Charlie Puth and his wife, Brooke Sansone, welcomed their first child, a son named Jude Crawford Puth, on March 13, 2026, the couple announced Monday via Instagram. The announcement included photos of the newborn and revealed his full name.
“Hey Jude 🩵 3.13.26,” Puth and Sansone shared in a joint post. Sansone subsequently revealed the baby’s full name in a separate Instagram Story post. She described Jude as her “whole world.”
The arrival of Jude comes approximately five months after Puth publicly disclosed Sansone’s pregnancy. The couple married in September 2024 in Montecito, California, according to reports.
Puth, 34, is preparing to release his new album, Whatever’s Clever!, on March 27, and is scheduled to begin a world tour next month. He has expressed a desire to bring his wife and son on tour, prioritizing his family life. “I always want to make sure that I’m there for baby,” Puth told Rolling Stone in January. “I wanna make sure that the baby has a normal life, and we’ll have the big headphones onstage, behind stage, and hopefully I can wave to baby.”
Acknowledging the challenges of touring, Puth admitted that a nomadic lifestyle may not be sustainable. “Touring is a really unnatural thing,” he said. “I can just tell that’s not gonna be sustainable,” he continued. “So we’ll do it where it makes sense, but I just want the most normal life for my child possible. I don’t want them to travel on airplanes constantly.”
Puth also shared his hopes that his son will develop a passion for music, stating, “I hope baby likes music, because it’s the only thing I’m good at,” in an October appearance on The Tonight Demonstrate Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The couple shared images of Jude, including hospital photos and a picture of Sansone wearing a necklace with the initial “J.” One handwritten caption accompanying a photo noted that Jude had consumed over 30ml of formula, a “new record,” and was listening to The Beatles’ “In My Life.”
