Charles Darwin University Brings flexible Australian Degrees to UK Professionals
London, UK – Australian institution Charles Darwin University (CDU) is expanding its reach to the United Kingdom, offering a new suite of online degree courses designed for the schedules of working professionals. Unlike many traditional UK universities, CDU’s programs boast a uniquely flexible structure, allowing students to begin their studies at any time and learn at their own pace.
The courses, priced starting at £12,000, are fully online but will be supplemented by in-person masterclasses. These masterclasses, featuring “world-renowned educators and trainers,” are slated to begin in spring 2026, coinciding with the opening of CDU’s new UK campus. The campus will serve as a hub for these intensive learning and networking opportunities.
“Education is about getting equipped with the tools for success and learning to use them,” stated Professor Scott Bowman, Vice-Chancellor and President at Charles Darwin University. “At CDU, we’re committed to ensuring anyone can access those tools when they need them, not just when they can afford them.”
Professor Bowman emphasized the university’s confidence in the quality of its education and its ability to deliver it in an innovative format. “When you have a quality product, such as our degree education, and can deliver it in a unique way, then there are no boundaries to what is possible or where,” he explained.
CDU anticipates launching additional courses tailored for the UK market in 2026.The university is also exploring opportunities to incorporate travel to Australia into the student experience, offering a potential immersive element to the online programs. The masterclasses are intended to enrich the online learning experience by fostering collaboration and peer-to-peer learning.
